The Gold Coast has more than just sun, surf and sand – but there's plenty of that on offer as well! For 50 years now, the Gold Coast has been one of Australia's leading tourist hotspots and throughout this time it has evolved into a world-class destination. Where else can you go on wine trails, hike rugged mountains, jet-boat and hug koalas all within close range of your Mantra Wings apartment?

The only observation deck in Australia by the beach, Q1 is easily recognisable among the Gold Coast's many high rises. Incredible coastal views throughout the day, but it is also popular during thunderstorms as visitors like to lay out on the floor to watch lightning strike the Q1's impressive 97.7 metre spire. A day at the footy, rugby, or local ironman contest is a great way to keep the whole family entertained. The Titans in the NRL and the Gold Coast Suns in the AFL - all are easily accessible from your Gold Coast apartment.

You're in theme park territory with the big five easily accessible - Dreamworld, Sea World, Movie World, Wet 'n' Wild and WhiteWater World. Stroke a sting ray at Sea World's Ray Reef, experience a virtual V8 Supercar race at Dreamworld or you may opt to visit the string of smaller parks that also guarantee a good time.

Discover the winery trails, the homemade cheeses, fudge and local brews and liquors. Snap up some local produce at a Farmers' Market as well as some arts and craft. For over 30 years Carrara Markets has been a major Gold Coast tourist attraction. Only a stone's throw from your Surfers Paradise apartment, Carrara Markets is the biggest permanent weekend marketplace in Queensland. With over 500 stalls covering 10 acres it's a treasure trove of the curious and the unusual from fresh produce to fashion to bric-a-brac to Luke's Reptile Kingdom with some of the world's most venomous snakes on display.

Directions

From the South
Turn right off the Gold Coast Highway on to Wharf Rd then left on to Old Burleigh Rd, 500m later turn left into Fern St and it is directly on your left. 

From the M1
Take the Broadbeach-Nerang exit of the M1, drive towards Pacific Fair and then north along the Gold Coast Highway until Wharf Rd then left on to Old Burleigh Rd, 500m later turn left into Fern St and it is directly on your left. 

From the West
Drive along Salerno St, across Isle Of Capri Bridge and then South along the Gold Coast Highway for 400m before turning left into Fern St. 

From the North
Drive down the Gold Coast Highway and turn right into Fern St (400m south of Isle of Capri).
