Experiences
Broadbeach is becoming one of the Gold Coast’s fastest growing resort areas, and has a reputation for being slightly more relaxed than its neighbour Surfers Paradise.
An ideal holiday location, Broadbeach has something to entertain everyone. One of the Gold Coast's largest shopping centres, Pacific Fair, is just a short stroll from the resort, and has over 250 shops and a large cinema complex. The Star Gold Coast is also within walking distance, offering world-class entertainment with a 24-hour casino, award-winning restaurants and shows. There is also a huge choice of great cafes and restaurants in Broadbeach to suit all budgets, and many offer alfresco beachside dining. By day the large sandy beach is patrolled by surf lifesavers and is popular with families.
Broadbeach is situated just south of Surfers Paradise, and is a good base to explore all the sights of the Gold Coast. Head north to the popular theme parks, or inland on a winery tour in the surrounding hinterland. Other popular activities include visiting the tallest building in the southern hemisphere, the Q1 building in Surfers Paradise, and enjoying a canal ride through the Gold Coast waterways. Tours and activities can be booked through the resorts tour desk.
