There are many things to do at your Surfers Paradise accommodation. Work up a sweat in the gym, have a hit on the tennis court or take the plunge in one of 2 heated pools. The Gold Coast is the perfect destination if you like eating out. There are so many different cafes, restaurants and takeaways to suit all tastes and budgets. In Surfers Paradise you'll find food from around the world including Italian, Japanese, Mexican, as well as good old-fashioned pub style food.

All the apartments at BreakFree are well equipped with good kitchen facilities so you can cook up a storm and put your feet up in front of the telly if you don't feel like heading out. There's also a BBQ area at the resort for al fresco self-catered cooking.

The Gold Coast is one of Australia's favourite playgrounds, with so much to do whether you're young or old. Famous for the sun and surf, the Gold Coast is a great place to hit the beach, with long stretches of patrolled sandy beaches and waves for beginners and the more experienced to enjoy. If you're more of a city person, there's always the fantastic shopping, dining and entertainment scene to keep you busy, and Surfers Paradise is at the centre of all the action.

If you have a head for heights you might also want to head to Dreamworld and get your pulse racing on the Giant Drop and other thrill rides. The tour desk at BreakFree Acapulco can organise tickets and transfers to this and all the other famous Gold Coast theme parks.

If you're staying on a Wednesday or Friday night, take a walk along the foreshore and discover the popular night markets. Selling lots of different locally hand-made arts, crafts, fashion and homewares, you can pick up a souvenir to remind you of your amazing Gold Coast holiday.
